Belly Picture Update

As of today, we are 9 weeks away from the due date.  My pregnancy app estimates the baby to be 18 inches and 3.2 pounds.  And he or she is moving around a lot these days!

Halfway!

We made it to 20 weeks, and we are halfway through the pregnancy.  Yay!

20 weeks

Nursery

We have been making progress on getting the nursery ready for Baby Swann.  Since we are not finding out the gender, we picked a neutral teal color for the walls.  Brandon did a great job with all of the painting :)

Oakley is not sure what is going on.

It took two coats of paint to get a nice solid color.

The painting is finished!

We put blue tape on the carpet so we could determine where the furniture might fit.

It took several weeks for the paint to air out, but we were finally able to set up the furniture.

It is starting to feel like a real room again.

Baby Swann

Baby Swann is due June 21, 2013.  We are not finding out the gender ahead of time, so it will be a fun surprise for everyone! :)

Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies!

I decided to try something new and added peppermint extract and pink food gel to the chocolate chip cookie batter.

End Result: YUM! :)

Traverse City Visit!

On Saturday, Mom and I traveled with Oakley to Traverse City to visit Jocelyn and her family.

Evie was getting ready to celebrate her 1st birthday (which was today).

I gave Evie a pink giraffe because giraffes are my favorite!

The giraffe is a Taggie with extra tags because those are the most fun part of the toy to play with!

Oakley had a fun time playing with his new friend Ripley.

Oakley and Evie also hit it off.  Oakley licked Evie's hands, and she seemed to enjoy it.

Lightroom

I downloaded the trial for Lightroom this week, and it is like magic!!!  I love using it to edit pictures!
